Barb Hogan 705-632-0894 The Friends of Ferris are pleased to welcome Dr. Christina Davy September 29th 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Ferris Park at the Picnic Shelter. Christina is a Species At Risk Research Scientist with MNRF. She has worked with bats for over 10 years. She is going to come and to tell us all about these amazing creatures. Come out to learn about what species we have in Ontario and how to identify them. She will also talk to us about the work she is doing looking into white nose syndrome, its effects on our bats and what we can do to help. Specifically she will show us examples of Bat boxes and what we need to know if we are installing them at our homes. Date and Time
