About Us

The Community Foundation of Campbellford/Seymour and Northumberland is one of 208 dynamic community foundations across Canada, and is dedicated to enhancing the vitality of Northumberland County through strategic philanthropy and community partnerships.

Established in 2001 from the proceeds of the local Public Utility Corporation, the Foundation has since invested over $4.8 million into local initiatives that support arts and culture, health and wellness, youth recreation, environmental stewardship, and more.

The Foundation empowers donors to create a legacy with lasting impact through planned giving, and our new Giving Guide will help donors achieve their philanthropic goals.

In 2026 the Foundation will celebrate 25 years of dedication in building a strong, inclusive, and resilient community for generations to come.
One important initiative, our Northumberland's Vital Signs Report, uses local data to support evidence-based, locally-relevant solutions to improve
the quality of life at the community level.
