Employment and Skills Development
Workforce Development Board is a not-for-profit organization located in Peterborough and serving Northumberland, Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton. Founded in 1996, WDB is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development to provide labour market information, coordinate employment and training services, and engage employer communities.
The office in Peterborough is closed to the public; however, Workforce Development Board remains fully operational as staff work offsite (Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) until further notice. If clients need support, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Workforce Development Board has consolidated information relevant to local employers and laid off workers/job seekers affected by COVID-19. More details can be found on the COVID-19 Resources page.
