Active Agers Walking Group
This class is suitable for people of all fitness levels and an instructor will be there to provide a warm-up to promote a gradual increase in heart rate as well as to provide stretching exercise to increase flexibility and maintain mobility. There will be an emphasis on the importance of good posture, alignment and proper exercise techniques to reduce risk of injury and promote positive changes when you are walking.
This supportive walk outdoors around the track (or similar movement inside depending on weather) at your own pace will work on coordination, balance and stability. This inclusive class provides accommodations and techniques for all levels as well as instruction on modifications if necessary.
