Campbellford District High School is celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2023. It’s going to be a great time to reminisce, reconnect with old friends, and maybe even meet some new ones. The date of the reunion weekend is July 14 – 16.
- Friday, July 14 - Open House and CDHS Social
- Saturday, July 15 – Pancake Breakfast (Rotary Park), Ferris Park Tours, Open House, Musical Entertainment, Dinner at the Curling Club and two dances – Country and Rock & Roll!
- Sunday, July 26 - – Pancake Breakfast (Rotary Park) & CDHS Open House
- A commemorative CDHS Souvenir Book has been written and is now available for $50 if ordered on www.cdhs2023reunion.com before the reunion and $60 if purchased at the reunion. This book is dedicated to the Students, Staff and Alumni who have both influenced and been influenced by their time spent together in the corridors and classrooms of Campbellford’s High School. This book puts a spotlight on everyone who have helped create a masterpiece of memories from the last 100 years.
- A number of new activities have been added to the weekend – and registration is needed on the CDHS reunion website:
- A Social Event is now happening on Friday, July 14 starting at 6p.m. It will occur in the school auditorium on Ranney St.
- A Tea and Social Time activity will happen on Saturday, July 15 at the school. Starting at 1p.m. it’s a time for alumni to come into the cafeteria and engage in conversations with their old and new friends.
- A time for Quiet Networking and Socializing has been set up for Saturday July 15 in the school library from 6 to 11p.m. for those who aren’t attending the dances and just want to chat with friends they haven’t seen in years.
- Space for travel trailers is now available at the Campbellford Fair Grounds in the open field. People can book their space your ticket on the reunion site.
These activities are all in addition to the Opening Ceremony, School Open House, two dances, Rotary Pancake Breakfasts, lunches and dinners, tours (Trent River Cruises, Ferris Park walks, Historical Society & Trent Hills Emergency Buildings) and Musical Entertainment on Saturday on the Football Field.
