The Friends of the Hastings Library is having a fundraiser on the Saturday of the August long weekend (August 2). The ?Road to Reading? is a Car Show, Book Sale, Bake Sale and Silent Auction combined into one fun event! In What Does a Garden Know?, Northumberland-based artist and animator bekky O'Neil invites us into a deeply personal exploration of land, life, and learning. With 15 albums to his credit, Michael returns to Westben his dazzlingly unique mix of jazz, pop and boogie-woogie, along with a barnful of charismatic charm. Two-time JUNO Award-winner and shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, Montreal singer-songwriter Dominique Fils-Aimé has been a favourite at venues ranging from the Montreal International Jazz Festival to opening for Diana Krall in Europe.
