About Us

Lower Trent Conservation is a community-based non-profit environmental protection organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and managing local natural resources across the Lower Trent watershed region. The Conservation works to safeguard and restore rivers, lakes and streams, protect and restore natural habitats, protect lives and property from natural hazards such as flooding and erosion, and provide opportunities for the public to learn from, enjoy and respect the natural environment. www.LTC.on.ca.

Our office is now open. We encourage the public to make appointments with staff members prior to arrival. Please note that masks are required to enter the building.

The Lower Trent Conservation watershed is located on the traditional territory of the Anishnabek, Huron-Wendat, and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) First Nations, and within the context of the Williams Treaty.
