Derived from a passion for home staging, realtor Julie Whiteman, owner of River’s Edge on Front created the unique concept of blending the present with the past in home and cottage décor that gives consumers many wonderful choices that suit and reflect any lifestyle. Clocks, furnishings, wall décor, accents pieces and giftware allows for a vast selection. Working with the latest trends in home and cottage décor, we want people to feel special in their own space along with providing some originality. Developing relationships with Canadian suppliers is key. The companies we’ve chosen to work with understand our goal in having beautiful as well as practical product lines that are the perfect fit for the store. River’s Edge on Front also features select local Artisans, who are a great addition to the store with their unique, quality custom designs. River’s Edge on Front provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere where customers feel comfortable browsing at their leisure. Located in Hastings ON at Lock 18 on the historical Trent Severn Waterway, it is a Trent Severn Trail Town Friendly Business. Only 1.5 hrs from the GTA, we have Trent River and Rice Lake at our door step and that lends itself to a relaxed, peaceful shopping experience.

The River’s Edge on Front is located in the Village of Hastings, Ontario. Conveniently located in the centre of town, we’re a short walk from Lock 18 on the Trent-Severn Waterway and many different restaurants including the Captain’s Table, Jiang’s Restaurant, McGillicafey’s Pub and Eatery, Bridgewater Cafe and Pizza and Banjo’s Grill.
